Commissioning Quick-Start Checklist

A one-page overview of the commissioning workflow, with links to the detailed articles. Use it as a field checklist when setting up a new zone.

Review Cautions & Safety before you begin — including the electrical-safety warning and the one-device-only rule for commissioning.

Before you begin

  • Keilton+autani app installed on one device
  • Bluetooth 4.2 or later; camera and photo access allowed
  • Lighting fixtures installed and powered
  • Zones planned per Planning & Sequences of Operations — ≤ 100 devices, < ~150 ft radius, < 9,000 sq ft, avoiding concrete/metal barriers
  • Good internet connection available (for cloud sync)

Commissioning steps (at a glance)

  1. Create a zone — Creating and Managing Zones
  2. Add lights — Adding Lights; then name them and set rated power
  3. Configure sensors — Motion and Daylight Harvesting; use Recommended Settings by Space Type as a starting point
  4. Create groups — Creating Groups, add/remove lights, and set linkage
  5. Create scenes — Creating Scenes
  6. Add and program switches — Adding Switches, switch settings, associate scenes/groups
  7. Set schedules — Creating Schedules
  8. Speed repetitive setup with templates — Applying Templates
  9. Save & Force Sync — sync the zone to the cloud (More page) before sharing
  10. Save / share the QR code — Saving and Sharing QR Codes, only after a successful sync
